- Generation stuck or failing?If v0 loads but replies never finish or end in an error, look at the “Output Generation” line above. That's the part that writes your code, and Vercel tracks it separately from the rest of v0.
- Hit the free message limitThe free plan allows a set number of messages a day (7 when we checked in November 2026). Once you've used them, v0 stops replying until the next day. On paid plans, running out of credits has the same effect. Neither is an outage.
- v0 works but your deployed app doesn'tApps you publish from v0 run on Vercel itself, not on v0. If the app is down while v0 is fine, check Vercel's status page for its CDN, functions and builds.
- The preview is blank or brokenA preview that won't render after a change is usually an error in the generated code. Ask v0 to fix the error it shows, or go back to an earlier version of the chat.
- Old v0.dev linksv0 moved to v0.app, and v0.dev now forwards there. If a bookmark or extension still points at an old address and fails, open v0.app directly.

Questions about v0 outages
Is v0 part of Vercel's status page?
Yes. Vercel lists v0 as its own group on vercel-status.com, with “Output Generation” and “Dashboard” underneath. We read only those two, so problems with the rest of Vercel don't show up here.
Is v0.dev the same as v0.app?
Yes. v0.dev now forwards to v0.app, which is where v0 lives today. Both names lead to this page.
Why did v0 stop answering me?
Most often it's the daily message limit on the free plan or used-up credits on a paid plan. If you still have messages left and every prompt fails, check the live status at the top.
