Since 3 November 2026 we've checked the official pricing and limits pages every morning; when one changes, we verify the change before adding it here and updating our limits pages.

Before: ChatGPT and Codex usage are counted separately.
After: From December 2026, Plus, Pro and Business plans' usage allowance will be shared across ChatGPT and Codex. Instant chat won't count against it.

Before: Personal Gemini plans had a set number of prompts per day for each model.
After: Limits are based on how much computing your requests use. They refresh every five hours until you reach a weekly limit, and each plan gets a multiple of the free “standard” limit.
