How can you tell Character.AI is down without an official page?
We check character.ai and its app servers every minute and count reports from visitors. We only say 'Likely down' when our checks fail and visitors report problems at the same time. Reports alone only raise 'Some users report problems'.
Why do my messages fail only at certain times?
