1. Grok on X or on grok.com?Grok inside the X app depends on X as well as xAI. If Grok works on grok.com but not inside X, the problem is probably with X rather than Grok.
2. Rule out usage limitsFree and paid plans limit how many requests you can make in a period. A message about limits is about your account, not an outage.
3. Sign out and back inIf sign-in loops or you see an authentication error, sign out fully and sign in again using the same method you used before.
4. Try a private window or the appOpen grok.com in a private window. If it works there, clear site data or switch off extensions. The Grok app is another quick test.
5. Update the appIf grok.com works but the app doesn't, update the app and restart your phone.
