Perplexity publishes exact numbers for its free and Enterprise plans, but describes Pro and Max only as “average use” and “advanced use”. Several limits reset on a rolling basis rather than on a fixed day. Here's what Perplexity's own help centre says.

What happens when you hit a limit

When you reach an advanced model's limit, Perplexity switches to another model until access comes back. source

When does my limit reset?

An estimate based on the provider's published rules, shown in your own time zone. Your app shows the exact time when you reach a limit. Nothing you enter is sent or saved.
